Crabcrusher

The newly developed crab crusher from Scan Winches in Hvide Sande means the end of hammers smashing crabs and the deafening noise that comes with this.
The Crabcrusher has been under development for a long time and was first installed on the Hvide Sande ship RI 236 Lisbeth Frich in 2004. The Skipper, and especially his crew, were more than pleased with our crabcrusher.

The machine eliminates virtually all unwanted things as crabs, shells, etc. from the nets. The machine works in a way that is more gentle on the net than the previously used hammer. The Crabcrusher can be mounted as desired, and it can be easily attatched to existing hydraulic installations. See the short demonstration video to the right of the page.
